Oando: SEC orders Wale Tinubu, others to resign, bars them from directorship of companies

The Securities and Exchange Commission has ordered the Group Chief Executive Officer of Oando, Wale Tinubu, to resign.

A statement on SEC website on Friday also directed the convening of an Extraordinary General Meeting on or before July 1, 2019, to appoint new directors. “Certain infractions of securities and other relevant laws were observed. The commission further engaged Deloitte & Touche to conduct a forensic audit of the activities of Oando Plc.

There is something synonym with this name in last 2 decades, TINUBU. I recall vividly in 2007 when Bola TINUBU boasted that for PDP to take over Lagos state, Oando will cease to exist. Politicians are not worthy masses sympathy same Atiku contributed to PDP fall in 2003 to 2007.
