According to the Overseas Labor Market Forum, Japan and several European countries will require approximately 28,000 Filipino drivers over the next five years. The Japanese Labor Attaché, Suzuki Yuki, stated that Japan alone needs more than 24,000 taxi drivers and around 4,000 train drivers. Monthly salaries range from PHP58,000 to 65,000, and applicants must have a language proficiency certificate in Japanese. In Europe, countries such as Slovenia, Austria, and the Czech Republic are seeking truck, bus, and taxi drivers, with salaries ranging from PHP55,000 to 142,000, and proficiency in English is required.

Hindi bababa sa 28,000 Pinoy drivers ang kakailanganin ng Japan at ilang bansa sa Europa sa susunod na limang taon, ayon sa Overseas Labor Market Forum.
