In a statement, Sunway said that in collaboration with Ibrahim Sultan Polytechnic under MOHE’s Department of Polytechnic and Community Colleges, the partnership will offer internship opportunities to TVET students from Malaysia’s southern region. To date, more than 200 TVET students nationwide have benefited from Sunway’s ongoing partnerships with Universiti Teknologi MARA, the National Youth Advanced Skills Training Institute, and various polytechnics and community colleges. The company has also extended internship and skills-sharing opportunities to other public TVET institutions, reinforcing its commitment to advancing technical and vocational education.
Senior director of competency at the Department of Polytechnic and Community Colleges , Razak bin Sabtu, highlighted the collaboration’s importance. “This partnership demonstrates JPPKK’s commitment, alongside PIS, to equip graduates with skills that align with industry demands. Sunway is a strategic partner, helping expand training opportunities and facilitating job placements for our graduates.”
