and shops were once again encouraged to create a Christmas-themed window to enter this year's competition and to make sure their lights were turned on and shining bright for judging by Mayor Roy Aldcroft.
Mr Aldcroft toured the town on Monday, December 2 to take a look at this year's offerings and judge which window he thinks is the best. Today, the mayor visited those shops and businesses within the town to present them with a certificate and prize for the competition.First prize was given to the AED Donate charity shop for its display of Christmas goods and lights in each of their large windows.
