It's the end of an era for Field's Market, a Los Angeles grocery store known for being a popular filming location.The grocery store on Saticoy Street in the West Hills neighborhood is closing its doors for good on New Year's Eve after serving the area for more than 20 years.
Once dubbed as one of Hollywood's 'Hottest Filming Locations,' according to Southern California Life Magazine in 2016, Field's Market was front and center in the production of TV game show, Guy's Grocery Games, for one season. Production crews with Barry, Bird Box, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Desperate Housewives and 7th Heaven have all used the grocery store to shoot their movies and shows.As the store shuts down this week, the owner has been hoping to clear out inventories, in addition to collecting memories one last time.' want some products they can't find somewhere else,' said owner Julie Smith.
