IPOH: A property development company director has been charged in a Magistrate’s court here with three counts of cheating involving RM300,000.

Chang Kok Kheong, 60, pleaded not guilty and claimed trial after the charges were read out by an interpreter before magistrate Nabihah Mohd Noor.

The offence took place out on Oct 4, 2012 at the Energiser Properties Sdn Bhd’s office at Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil in Greentown, where transactions of RM100,000 each was made via three different credit cards belonging to Low. “He has no reason to abscond, and thus I request the court to set bail at RM10,000 for all three charges,” he added.
