Early indications show the US jobs market remains strong despite a slowdown in manufacturing due to the trade dispute between China and the US.

A survey from Bloomberg showed Nonfarm payrolls increased by about 160,000 in August, ahead of the official release of the jobs figures from the the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
