Over 300 elite international riders from 15 Asian nations are set to invade the streets of Iloilo when the Gran Fondo NY Asian Championships kicks off in Megaworld's Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao this Sunday.

Racers can drop by the mechanical service booths stationed at the mall from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Saturday to wrap up their preparations before tackling their respective courses. They can also pick up their race packets at the mall in the afternoon beginning 1 p.m. The official race kicks off at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday at Festive Walk Mall. This Philippine leg features a competitive long-distance course of 133 kilometers and 650 meters of climbing, as well as a non-competitive middle distance course covering 64 kilometers with a 220-meter climb.The qualifier race is one of the five continental title series that form part of the 2019-2020 GFNY World Race season.
