SADC join forces in the call for removal of sanctions against Zimbabwe via SABCNewsOnline

This is in line with the African Union resolution to support Zimbabwe as the country struggles to rebuild its economy.

Among countries that have already shown for support for the lifting of economic sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe are Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia. Many believe this call will not yield positive results while others says it will put pressure on the Western countries to review their position on Zimbabwe. Marches in solidarity with Zimbabwe are planned to take place on Friday in the different SADC countries.

The main march is expected to be in Harare where the ruling party – ZANU-PF is mobilising support for the action.

SADC as a joke as ya are who is ever going to take u seriously? Remember how ya cosigned on a coup and rigged elections by ed now ya having selective amnesia

KMutisi SADC is a corrupt old boys club sanctions There is no appetite among starving Zimbabweans for the sanctions on the listed individuals/entities to be removed

Sanctions must go!!!!!

SADC is supporting the corrupt junta gvt for what reason? SADC must tell their fellow to implement the reforms needed so tht the international community can remove the sanctions. If gvt carries on with police brutality, abductions and killings of its citizens sanctions must stay

Sophie_Mokoena Did u consult us Zimboz Our problems are not from sanctions bt a thieving corrupt govt

KMutisi thank u SADC_News

Zim is at the messy of zanu pf not sanctions.

I am Zimbabwean and before useless SADC_News calls for removal of sanctions they must talk aganist human rights violations take place in Zimbabwe , people getting murdered by police and army e.t.c .. we the People call for more tougher SANCTIONS .

I don’t get it. The biggest sanctions is the voting right taken away from Zimbabweans in foreign lands, the total disregard of the right to demonstrate and be heard is the biggest sanctions against the people by the zimbabwean government. Killing, rigging elections is by gvt al

Tanzania🇹🇿 love Zimbabwe🇿🇼 In Support SADC Voice Africa bobmarley SADC_News InTanzanian ZimAbroadMag edmnangagwa NewsDayZimbabwe StarfmZimbabwe Sicela likhuphule ama sanctions eZimbabwe Let the people of Zimbabwe breath. Uplift the sanctions

Maybe Trump will send the army and police riots to shoot demonstrators just like zim government does to its citizens.

..free your ppl from oppressive laws & the world will free u from sanctions

Im waiting for a day when SADC stands up against abductions ,torture and corruption in Zim.

We need to see the leaders saying it openly on media. On the other hand, what is AU doing by now?

People are suffering! Lift sanctions now!

There is no Law in Zimbabwe so forget it

Nobody from the civilised world will ever listen to these sadc dictators

Its a government controlled newpaper reporting.

As long as journalists are prosecuted for publishing the truth, and the government stops it's racist laws against some of it's citizens the sanctions must stay.

Sanctions must perish..

Corruption and tribalism stopping progress

The biggest sanctions is ZANU PF

In as much as sanctionsmustfall, it would be a big mistake if the opposition does not do anything meaningful to counter this march.
