The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) recently participated in the 45th Philippine Business Conference and Expo organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in order to gain a wider reach of possible investors.

With the theme, “Enabling Business in a Digital Economy,” the conference and expo brought focus on new business models to emerging organizations as well as traditional entities to either complement their well-established model or potentially improve their core businesses.

Co-organized by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute , the Breakout Session 6 served as a pitching session of the DOST-developed technologies available for transfer and adoption to investors or fabricators. Meanwhile, Ms. Nora Garcia, Provincial Science and Technology Director of Batanes in Region II, presented the food products developed by the Food Innovation Center at the Cagayan State University , Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
