WHEN five sisters found out their beloved mum Jane Peters had two brain tumours - one of which was the size of an orange - they were devastated.

"One of my sisters, Lucy, was on maternity leave and the rest of us were working. We all rushed down to Cornwall, where mum was at that time, to be with her." By 2016, three of the siblings, Lucy Ambler, 42, Anna Peters, 41, and Sophie, joined forces to launch Box of Hugs, an online gift company. It was a big risk as none of them had ever run a small business before and two of the sisters were pregnant at the time.Running a family business has, Sophie says, brought them much closer together but there have been a few obstacles along the way.
