Bitcoin prices spiked this morning, climbing close to 8% in a matter of minutes at a time when the market has been experiencingThe digital currency reached as much as $7767.91 around 8:20 a.m. EST, having climbed 7.7% in less than 30 minutes, CoinDesk figures show.

“It all points to the assumption that this was the outcome of a single player with a large buy order. Or in other words... a large whale stacking sats.”“With this unusually low volume crypto markets have experienced, any single, large transaction has an [outsize] impact,” he stated.
