The French car giant will sell its Irish distribution business for an undisclosed sum to Cedar Ireland Automotive Ltd - a Kuwait-based company

Renault, the French auto giant, has agreed a deal to sell its Irish subsidiary to Cedar Ireland Automotive Ltd, the Kuwait-based company that owns Nissan Ireland, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal, which is subject to clearance by the competition authority, will see Cedar Ireland Automotive take over the distribution of Renault and Dacia cars in Ireland from November this year. The French car giant said it had agreed the deal with the Kuwait company, ...
