A finance expert has spoken out after an Australian man revealed his major financial decision which left many scratching their heads.

A mortgage broker has shut down an Australian man after he revealed why he did not want to be"tied" to a mortgage.

"I'm gonna have to make a lot more money in markets and then I'm gonna buy one outright cause f*** getting tied to a mortgage," he said.
