Business leaders dispute notion Texas economy is slowing

While some measures indicate a rough patch, business groups say they are optimistic the Texas economy will keep humming.

SAN MARCOS — Is the Texas economy slowing down? Research from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas says yes, but business leaders at a panel discussion at Texas State University on Thursday said they don’t feel it. “It’s not slowing down in Texas at all.
