Stocks Close Lower as Tech Stocks Drag Down Market

Wall Street ended a shortened holiday week on a down note, with stocks closing lower. The S&P 500 fell 1.1%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.8%, and the Nasdaq composite dropped 1.5%.
