Great earnings reports don't matter to investors, who fear a trade war will hit 2019 profits

The problem is the earnings aren't that great.

Maybe there’s a growing awareness of artificial earnings due to financial engineering and non-performance factors like the tax scam and stock buybacks.

Guy is so right. Janet was the market 'pimp' for long enough. Fed doesn't need to take bold steps either way. Just my opinion.
