Concerns have been expressed about foreign companies – specifically Chinese firms – this week being awarded the lion’s share of four contracts valued at R17.4 billion that the SA National Roads Agency cancelled earlier this year. Now it's clear while Civil Engineering was listed as a 'scarce skill' in SA when so many Civil Engineering professionals are languishing in unemployment.. so the companies will likely be allowed to come with their own Civil Engineers
