Supply costs and inflation have left the building industry in a “hot mess,” according to The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth.
“We’ve got mounting debt down here in Victoria – it is mounting up over our eyeballs,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Caleb Bond. “The property market is under a lot of strain at the moment – mortgage holders took on far too much debt.”
