European Commission will reportedly approve Microsoft's Activision Blizzard acquisition

, sources familiar with the matter claim EU antitrust regulators will approve Microsoft's takeover of Activision Blizzard and that May 15th is the likeliest date we'll see an official announcement.

The European Commission was originally down to make its decision on the deal in April, but this date was pushed back to May to account for Microsoft's remedies surrounding the acquisitions. If Reuters is correct, we should have the regulator's decision early next week.
