Eskom has denied there is any secrecy around the economic fallout from the closure and planned repurposing of the Komati power station, where the utility says job losses have been minimised as it transitions to a green power project.
The Eskom response came as community and labour representatives lamented a perceived lack of transparency on Friday at a meeting following a site visit to the shuttered station by the Presidential Climate Commission.
