Hong Kong stocks fall for third day as Nikkei 225 declines

Asia-Pacific stocks mostly tumbled Thursday, Sept. 7, with shares in Hong Kong declining for the third day.

Of the the Hang Seng Index constituents, semiconductors company Semiconductor Mfg Intl 981, -7.60% saw the largest decrease in Hong Kong, as shares declined 7.6% on Thursday. Shares of integrated oil/gas firm PetroChina 857, +2.91% and cell/mobile phones company Xiaomi 1810, +1.19% gained 2.9% and 1.2%, respectively.
