They opened their first store in the city in 1999

Clements Coffee was one of Northern Ireland's biggest independent coffee chains, having opened their first store in the city in 1999. Once operating a total of ten locations across Belfast, the company this week has put three of its remaining stores up for sale.

Estate agents Campbell Cairns has listed Clements Coffee's Royal Avenue, Rosemary Street and Botanic Avenue cafes on their website, each with an asking price of £50,000.A description of each location reads: "The coffee shop is fully fitted and ready for a new occupier to commence trading straight away. The sale includes all current fixtures and fittings including coffee machines, display fridges/cabinets and furniture.

The sale of these three units means that the only remaining Clements Coffee shops that remain operational are at Ulster University's Jordanstown campus and one at Queen's University.Join our Belfast Live breaking news service on WhatsApp Click this link or scan the QR code to receive breaking news and top stories from Belfast Live.
