Mr Conroy hit out at Opposition Leader Peter Dutton over his “incompetent” time as defence minister, citing a number of projects which he claims did not receive the proper support.
“We are bringing forward capabilities to deal with our strategic circumstances,” Mr Conroy said during parliamentary Question Time on Wednesday. “Our government is serious about taking reforms on defence, fixing the projects that he allowed to slip under his role as defence minister.Mr Conroy criticised Peter Dutton, claiming he “can’t be trusted on defence”.
