Reports on petrol scarcity in many parts of the country suffuse the frontpages of Nigerian newspapers.
Daily Trust reports that data from the National Bureau of Statistics has shown that the price of one kilogramme of rice increased by 152.93 percent in March. The newspaper says the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and six Arab countries have urged the international community to implement robust sanctions against Israel.
