Lipa, known for 'enterprising and hardworking entrepreneurs,' hosted the mentoring session at SM City Lipa's event center on Saturday for entrepreneurs working for micro, small and medium enterprises to learn from volunteer Go Negosyo mentors who are veteran entrepreneurs and executives from the corporate world.
'It aims to help and further expand the knowledge of small and medium enterprises as well as those who wish to build their business,' a post on Africa's page said.Go Negosyo's Facebook page also held a 12-minute live video at the start of the event.Among the big companies that took part in the mentoring session were the Bank of the Philippine Islands and their BanKo microfinance savings bank, Cebuana Lhuiller's Kanegosyo Center, GCash, Maya, iFern, DTI, AB Corp. and JCI.
