Nevada’s State Contractors Board created its special residential solar investigative team this year in response to a surge in customer complaints. The unit will partner with prosecutors and other state agencies and conduct workshops to help consumers avoid unscrupulous operators. Solar companies account for one-third of the 3,000 complaints the board receives annually.
