SpaceX is launching a satellite in November that will track how climate change is causing sea levels to rise.
The satellite will measure how rising sea levels are eroding coastlines by updating maps of the oceans every ten days. Its altimeters can measure millimeter-scale changes in elevation. The Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich satellite will update maps of the oceans every 10 days, showing scientists how much rising sea levels are eroding coastlines.
