Fergal O’Brien, the director of Ibec, the business lobby group, has said that regulatory barriers across the island of Ireland are preventing the labour market from being as dynamic as it could be.
Speaking at an Oireachtas joint committee on the implementation of the Good Friday Agreement, O’Brien said the labour market was among the key barriers to maximising an all-island economy.
