A local theatre company is debuting a new play with hopes of making it accessible for all audiences.
Tamasha, O Tamasha is a new show from This Might Be Satire Productions, based on translated work from Indian theatre icon Gursharan Singh Bhaji.Writer and producer Azal Dosanjh says his take on the play allows people from any cultural background to relate to the show.With rising costs in the theatre industry, they felt it was important to make their show as affordable as possible. Tickets for some shows will be free, while tickets for others will be sold using a “pay what you can” model.
