Nigerian general insurance company, Heirs Insurance has debunked the viral reports claiming that the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) had sealed off its headquarters office, a seven-floor structure on Ajose Ogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State. The company stated this in a statement made available on Monday, released by Ifesinachi Okpagu, the company Chief Marketing Officer explaining that the building in question was legally built by Cappa & D’Alberto and commissioned in 2021.

According to the General Manager of LASBCA, Architect Gbolahan Owodunni Oki, this was done in a bid to avert a possible collapse. Oki said the actions prompted the evacuation and seal-off order on the building pending further investigation.
