At the time, Latham’s upper house colleague, Rod Roberts, also announced that he would quit One Nation to sit as an independent and backed up the allegations. Latham told parliament on Wednesday he had received a letter on 28 September from Mladenov informing him Mladenov had been engaged by One Nation’s NSW branch as an “independent reviewer” of the party’s finances.“ somebody that I incredibly admire, I worked closely with in Bankstown when we’re fighting corruption together, and I’ve got a lot of time for him,” she said.
“He is undertaking a review to ensure that One Nation is compliant. He’s also undertaking a review to ensure that we engage members and supporters moving forward.
