LAHAD DATU: The Community Development Leaders Unit organising the Charity Programme for Breaking the Fast brings advantages to disadvantaged and unfortunate communities.
“Every year during the month of Ramadan, many volunteers, NGOs and corporate parties come forward through their Corporate Social Responsibility programme to donate. Awang Kadin said apart from the iftar ceremony, his side is collaborating with several companies, including Sabah Softwood Berhad, to demonstrate the concern of government-linked companies in participating.“We are confident more GLC companies will be involved in UPPM’s Fasting Charity Tour Programme.
“In addition to the Breaking the Fast programme, we also have the opportunity to go shopping for Hari Raya Aidilfitri clothes with children who are less fortunate and unable to prepare for the celebration,” said Dexter.
