Beyoncé is shaking up the music industry with her hot new country album

If there's one thing she’s made sure of it’s that no one will ever put her in a box. Pop, hip-hop, R&B, gospel – Beyoncé has been there, done that and nailed them all.

But she wasn’t done – not by a long shot. In one of the biggest pivots of her career she ventured into the world of country – and she’s proving she’s the queen of this one too. The 42-year-old pop icon is the first black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with her hit Texas Hold ’Em, the first single from hernew album Act II: Cowboy Carter. The song quickly racked up more than 200 million streams on Spotify and 16 Carriages, the second single from the album, more than 10 million.
