Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on Tuesday launched the third series of his Fintiri Business Wallet, an empowerment programme supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises, MSMEs, under which the 65,000 beneficiaries will receive their packages. The programme, which focuses on empowering youths and women to reduce poverty by boosting commerce, provides each beneficiary with the N50,000 grant to support their businesses.

In his speech during the flag-off of the grant distribution, Fintiri emphasised the importance of institutionalising poverty alleviation efforts rather than relying on occasional handouts. Noting that the Fintiri Business Wallet has already empowered 20,000 women and youths in the state during the first two batches, the governor said the programme provides financial support to business owners and promotes family stability.
