KUALA LUMPUR: A former financial controller at a developer’s company told the High Court in Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor’s RM2 million corruption trial today that there were no details on the firm’s official records on why the money was paid.
When asked by Tengku Adnan’s lawyer, Tan Hock Chuan, whether he had asked Chai for the purpose of the RM2 million, Lai said no.“There were no supporting documents given to us.”The hearing continues on July 16 before High Court judge Zaini Mazlan.
