Oculus users to sign into a Facebook profile: livestreaming VR content to Facebook, integration with Facebook events such that users can plan VR meet-ups, VR integration with Messenger, and more.Facebook will tap into Oculus data for ad targeting on its social media platform. To make the VR experience more immersive, Facebook also native hand tracking to the Quest VR headset.

By encouraging Oculus users to connect to their social profiles, Facebook can leverage its advertising tools to grow the Oculus platform.
