The GMA Kapuso Foundation received a generous donation of P1,000,000,000 from the Anvil Business Club.The money will go to the relief operations for the displaced persons and evacuees of the Taal Volcano eruption.
"We believe that giving back to society, especially our less fortunate brothers and sisters is very important. Lalo na , they're are very much in need of the Taal Volcano . We believe that GMA Kapuso Foundatuon is the best way for us to reach them, especially as the track record of the foundation is very good—really uplifting the lives of the less fortunate Filipinos," says Anvil Business Club Vice President for Internal Affairs Hubert Henry Chua.
