Mihlali Mayambela has started a new adventure in Israel this year, after joining Bnei Yehuda from Portuguese club SC Farense last month.

The 23-year Cape Town-born attacking midfielder has started five games already for his new club, scoring once, and says he was immediately made to feel at home at the club. Mayambela left South Africa as a teenager to join Djurgardens in Sweden, and while there also had loan spells at Degerfors and Brage. He joined Farense two years ago, making Yehuda his fifth club since leaving South Africa.

Mayambela says that he has been impressed by the Israeli league so far, and he is excited to potentially play in European competitions with the club.
