Salesforce Executive VP and former MuleSoft CEO Greg Schott is leaving the company, Business Insider has learned.

An update to Schott's LinkedIn profile shows his employment at Salesforce ending this month.
That's important for Salesforce, which has been working towards a goal of helping its customers get a "360-degree view" of all of the data in their company, across all of their various software systems in the sales, service, and marketing departments. Schott joined MuleSoft as its CEO and chairman in 2009 and led the company to its IPO in 2017, before it was acquired by Salesforce in 2018. Prior to that he held roles at other software companies.
