Google tweeted a description of its coronavirus screening site hours after Trump touted it – and it sounds very different than the nationwide test Trump promised

Earlier today, President Donald Trump appears to have exaggerated these claims, describing it as a nationwide website being built by Google to help with coronavirus screening. A Verily spokesperson clarified the project and says it hopes to expand the project from the Bay Area over time.President Donald Trump appears to have misspoken, and perhaps even significantly exaggerated, the details of a Google project to screen Americans for coronavirus.that Google is working to build a website to help screen Americans who may have COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, Google sent out a tweet describing something very different.

The site is actually being built by Verily, a subsidiary of Alphabet — Google's parent company — and the website is being designed for people seeking testing in the San Francisco Bay Area, instead of nationwide as Trump claimed. "We are developing a tool to help triage individuals for Covid-19 testing," a Verily spokesperson said in a tweet. "Verily is in the early stages of development, and planning to roll testing out in the Bay Area, with the hope of expanding more broadly over time. We appreciate the support of government officials and industry partners and thank the Google engineers who have volunteered to be part of this effort.

Google might be able to navigate where we are supposed to go when we get sick, and which area needs to be locked down. However, it won't help early attention neither advising the individuals whether they need medication. Moreover, it's too late to take actions.

'Worldwide, it has killed over 140,000 people and killed over 5,000. ' What? Check your stuff first before publishing it. Your credibility goes down with blatantly wrong information.

So after I use the site on Sunday, it will tell me to show up in SanFrancisco Walmart on Monday Guess I’ll use Google Maps to get directions from CT EmergencyUBI coronavirus testingkits TrumpPressConference Trump Resist
