The pandemic has led some workers to question positions that gave them a sense of purpose just months before

Months into a pandemic that brought businesses to a standstill and upended daily routines, many workers are wondering: Does my job matter?

Workers not on the coronavirus front lines haven’t faced the same health risks as those in crisis-critical jobs. But many people who are crafting marketing plans, processing invoices and otherwise toiling from home are confronting existential questions about the meaning of their work amid a world in turmoil.

Don’t you get it? Capitalism is about perpetually producing so that people are perpetually buying. The more people there are to buy the better. All of those consumers need jobs to stop them from being an idle mob, kinda like we have now

This Covid fiasco has to end. For every death media are transfixed on reporting, the wider damage will be worse...mental health, economy etc we go to war and accept death...we are in a war....deal with it

a common flu isn't a pandemic. YOU ARE MISLEADING YOUR FOLLOWERS. Check the stats. Florida reports new 15K cases on a daily basis with a ridiculous low mortality rate as tests increased 3 fold !

US civil war fight for George Washington

Yeah...not gonna lie. Once layoffs went into effect and I saw how many people were not 'essential'...I found myself thinking back to the folks that were talking about Overpopulation. How much of all of this is really just government trying like hell to keep us all busy?

Your job does matter, but far beyond that your life far does matter. If you had lost your life, what kind of contribution you could do to the nation, to the people, and to the society. It is not suggested to have started your job during the uncontrollable pandemic.

Even more ironic.......... the lack of freedom and dismal dull existence of life in Communist China is now a pall on the planet. Communist China has removed all joy and freedom from the world with its virus. The China bomb has radiated the fun of being a free human from us all.

Nothing a little extra printing can't solve.

Not nearly as much as welfare, I mean 'black lives.'

The only purpose of Burger Flipping is to understand 'whatever goes up, has to come down'

Defining 'relevant' work takes you down an existential rabbit hole.

Your job may be relevant, but are you .

“Own What you “ my Dad , and the best advice he gave me oh so many many years ago! A happy heavenly Father’s Day Sir !

Time to rethink everything

Is my office relevant?

Yes, people have to spend money to keep businesses open. If they start saving and only spending on essentials, then your job might not be relevant

Every job is essential to economic success
