Dear dairy farmers: sorry we scrapped your massive subsidy, here's a big pile of cash to make you feel better. Dear pipeline workers: f*k you, you're out of work. And we're still going to keep sending your tax dollars to Quebec.

Can we just pause to think about that for a moment. This cartel was making $1B more per year by jacking up prices for Canadian consumers. This was apparently a fraction of the protectionism. Now they want a bailout from Canadian taxpayers after years of favourable prices.
