The company is also studying an intravenous antiviral to treat Covid-19, which is now being used on clinical trial patients hospitalized with Covid-19. “Together, the two [oral and intravenous antivirals] have the potential to create an end to end treatment paradigm that complements vaccination,” Pfizer chief scientific officer Mikael Dolsten said.

Helpful, since getting a COVID19 vaccine is impossible. So many categories for being eligible to receive a COVID19 vaccine is impossible to be vaccinated.
