It’s time to end ‘business as usual’ with Nigeria - Punch NewspapersNigeria’s worsened internal struggles now provoke debate among specialists about whether to describe the country as a “failed state.” Apart from such debates over labels, what is clear is that Nigeria’s instability is rooted in a vital shortcoming: After 61 years of independence, the country still struggles to cultivate a national identity rooted in people’s basic freedoms and dignity. Biafran and ipobian authored opinion. SecBlinken ABlinken should know Nig is a failed state, bad governance, insecurity sponsored by states to suffer the citizens, corruption, unemployment now rules. The youths will rise soon if nothing tangible is done cus the suffering is now unbearable with so much resources&wealth The only genuine response from US must be referendum for these citizens to determine what they genuinely want from this state created by a foreigner.
