There is an “absolute lack of sensitivity and understanding” shown to cancer patients who are being pursued by HSE hired debt collectors for their treatment fees, according to the co-leader of the Social Democrats. Róisín Shortall was speaking in the Dáil today as her party launched a motion on the cost of cancer care.
