National Police Commissioner, Khehla Sitole, has praised officers after the arrest of 13 suspects in connection with a Cash-In-Transit heist on the R501 in Westonaria, west of Johannesburg Friday.
Police say they recovered money, explosives, and one of the vehicles used at a house in Carletonville. Police say among those arrested is an off-duty police officer and a member of the National Defence Force, who was out on bail. Police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda says the South African Police Service wishes the injured police officer a speedy recovery.
