The Sony Pictures film follows Katie Mitchell, a young girl with a passion for filming, as her chaotic family is tasked with saving planet Earth from a robot uprising.
The film scooped the top award for Best Animated Feature, along with three awards for Outstanding Achievements for Animated Effects, Character Design and Directing. Accepting the top award on behalf of the film, the production crew reflected on the main character’s personal story and her impact on the future of animation.
