After a successful pop-up run in honor of National Lumpia Day, the Lumpia Company will join the Local Kitchens micro food halls in Cupertino and Lafayette.

East Bay entrepreneur Alex Retodo founded the Lumpia Company in 2015 as a food truck in San Francisco, with traditional and contemporary recipes, and later opened an Oakland brick-and-mortar on 24th Street, which is currently serving four days a week. In 2019, rapper E-40 became a co-owner. “Growing up in Vallejo, a lot of my best friends were a part of the Filipino Community. I ate lumpia with the kids I grew up around, and it became one of my favorite dishes of all time.” E-40 said in the announcement.
