Oishii, the company behind the $6 strawberry, is cutting prices by more than half as it opens a large indoor vertical farm, the company said. A tray of 11 medium berries or eight large berries will cost $20 instead of $50.

What they’re saying: "

Yes, it's still $20, but our goal is to make this available to everyone — not just in New York — around the world," CEO and co-founder Hiroki Koga tells Axios. The company also announced that its products will be available at a new Whole Foods store opening in New York in a few weeks.

How in the hell are we offering $6 strawberries and free school lunches are on the chopping block and we have a baby formula shortage?

Well, we know who’s going bankrupt first in a recession.
